1Remove the metal bands and lids from the Mason jars. Clean the jars before proceeding with the recipe.

2Follow the recipe to bake the mini pies in the Mason jars.

3For each jar, cut a 2-1/4 x 3-inch tag of muslin and fray the edges with your fingers.

4Punch a small hole at the top of each square of muslin. Set aside.

5Scan the provided pie-in-a-jar template and print it out. Put the tracing paper on top of the template and trace over the outline.

6Flip over the tracing paper and set it on top of the carving block. Trace back over the lines you drew in the last step, pressing down firmly to complete the transfer. Slowly remove the tracing paper, making sure that everything transferred onto the block.
